The Wilbur Wright Birthplace & Museum is gearing up for its annual June festival on Friday, June 14th, and Saturday, June 15th, 2012. This year we will be combining our Home School Day with our festival events. Planned are several demonstrations including rug hooking, blacksmithing, spinning and weaving plus other hands on activities.

On Friday, we will open with our all-you-can eat ham & bean supper in our community room.

Saturday, we will offer more children’s activities and plan on having a hot air balloon tethered for everyone’s enjoyment.

We will continue to offer free vendor space to those wishing to set up a booth to sell various items or provide information concerning their services. Vendors may set up on Friday, June 15th in the afternoon or Saturday morning.

As always, we will have our delicious pork chop dinner, the Wright Flyer RC Club will be flying their planes (weather permitting), free admission to our museum and Birthplace, concession stand plus lots more.
