The Wilbur Wright Birthplace & Museum annual Home School Day festival is planned for September 12.
More details to come.
Planned are several demonstrations including rug hooking, blacksmithing, spinning and weaving plus other hands on activities.
On Friday, we will open with our all-you-can eat ham & bean supper in our community room.
Saturday, we will offer more children’s activities and plan on having a hot air balloon tethered for everyone’s enjoyment. Also the Rendezvous band will be playing 50’s to 80’s dance music from 4-8 p.m.
We will continue to offer free vendor space to those wishing to set up a booth to sell various items or provide information concerning their services. Vendors may set up on Friday, June 15th in the afternoon or Saturday morning.
As always, we will have our delicious pork chop dinner, the Wright Flyer RC Club will be flying their planes (weather permitting), free admission to our museum and Birthplace, concession stand plus lots more.
